Late Night Snack: Adorable Kid Conducting Beethoven’s 5th

Have you seen this kid? If you want to be amazed and reminded of the joy in life — check him out! His name is Jonathan and he’s just 3 years old. Here he is conducting to the 4th movement of Beethoven’s 5th Symphony. Kudos to his parents for encouraging his obvious passion for music. I should take this moment to thank my parents for dragging me to symphonies, operas and ballets when I wanted to be at rock concerts. I get it now:-)

“This piece was conducted by Herbert von Karajan and the Berliner Philharmoniker, one of Jonathan’s favorite conductors and orchestras. Jonathan’s passion for classical music became apparent when he was only eight months old. Shortly after that he began conducting on his own.”

Yeah, it’s not political, save for an appreciation for the arts, which some people are trying to kill. But he made me smile and that’s good enough for a political palate cleansing late night snack.

Sweet dreams everyone.
